Tips when sending data files


Some important points to take note of:
  • We always print the data in the order that it is sent. We will never change the order of the rows prior to printing.
  • We will never change the capitalisation of the data.


When you send us your data for a badge print consider reading following tips to ensure the badges are printed correctly.

1. Send use your data in an .xlsx, .xls or .csv file.

2. Use the same column names as the fields in your Indesign document.

3. We always print the data in the order that they are sent. We will never change the order of the rows.


Extra tips when sending .xlsx or .xls documents:

1. Consolidate the data into 1 tab within the Excel document.

2. Try to avoid using filters as they can easily & accidentally be changed.

3. Make sure there are no "hidden" rows or columns in the document.

4. Avoid fields with text on different lines.
